CMHO, RTO, DEO and Revenue Officer change with routine transfers and lack a single live public roster we can verify weekly, so we link directly to each department rather than print a name that could be wrong.
SP, CMHO, RTO, DEO and Revenue Officer postings are reshuffled often by the TN Government. We link to the live official portal for each role rather than printing a name that could be outdated.

River Pollution
The Supreme Court ruled on 30 Jan 2025 that decades of untreated tannery effluent into the Palar River caused 'irreversible damage' to water, groundwater and farmland in Vellore, ordering the state to pay and recover compensation for affected families. A separate Sep 2024 study of 140 groundwater samples across the Vellore–Ranipet Palar basin found over 70% exceeded safe drinking-water limits for heavy metals including chromium, cadmium and copper.
